Chester Cheetah

During my time working on the Frito-Lay account, I undertook the exciting challenge of illustrating Chester Cheetah in a visually striking 3D style. Traditionally, Chester Cheetah had been depicted in a flat vector format. However, Frito-Lay expressed a desire to modernize the character's appearance with a three-dimensional aesthetic.

To accomplish this, I devised a method utilizing vector shapes that maintained their quality when scaled up. I crafted Chester's various components, such as his arms, hands, feet, head, and tail, as separate parts. This approach enabled me to reuse these individual elements and combine them in different ways to generate a diverse range of poses for Chester.

As I continued to create more iterations of Chester, I amassed a comprehensive library of parts. This extensive collection empowered me to seamlessly blend and assemble these components in unique configurations, allowing for the creation of countless distinct poses for Chester Cheetah.
